Adrienne and I are camping at Lake Somerville State Park again this weekend (our second visit here). After we kept overloading our Honda eu2200i generator last year at Flipside, I got an eu2200i Companion generator and a parallel kit. The Companion has a 30A outlet, so we can directly drive the trailer off of it directly, with no adapter. The parallel kit means we can run the two generators together. Running the trailer’s AC, fridge, and our little Dometic drink fridge seemed easy enough for the Companion alone, but it’s good to know we have the extra oomph of the second generator, if we need it.
